A mural that serves as a celebration of the hotel ruin’s first anniversary, a once-abandoned site that has transformed into a cultural place.
Over the past year, nearly 100,000 visitors have wandered through its walls, drawn to its unique atmosphere where history, nature, and imagination converge.
This project explores the theme of wondering, inspired by the unique concept of the hotel ruin.
The space allows nature to take the lead, where we as humans are guests. Known as “the jungle,” the ruin is reflected in the artwork through incorporated jungle elements.
The mural was developed using a doodle grid as its foundation.
Due to bad weather conditions, water-based spray paint was used at times.
