This design is influenced by my experience attending a 10-day Vipassana course by N. Goenka. The phrase that kept echoing in my mind was: "purifying the mind at its roots", which was the main focus for this design. Samatha means equanimity in Sanskrit. Vipassana, a meditation technnique, is messured by equanimity, which you train during the course.
